Joker’s damn hot.
Being as … out of it as I have been, I totally missed when this came out (don’t even have the issue yet).
Some good moments. But HQ does not ring true for character to me as Harleen Quinzel. At all. I appreciate the effort made and its intentions behind it… but I think there’s a way to maintain Harley’s naivety and inexperience and expand powerfully on the Mad Love take as well. Hell, I did it in Tainted Love. And yes, I am signal boosting my own shit, BECAUSE IT CAN BE DONE. HQ doesn’t have to be changed and ‘toughened’ up to have their tale be compelling, complex and involved.
But… I really liked the hideout moment. Yes, I teared up.
