Oh my god if you’re going to judge someone’s cosplay you better learn your fucking shit because this is Duela Dent you goddamn assholes.
Perpetually laughing over the fact that “real gamer/comic book nerd” males keep insulting women for cosplaying things they’ve never even heard of
who’s the “fake geek” now, fuckers?

In which I am described as a ‘cosplay cabaret artist’ and LOL’d all the way home!
I know this one is pretty recent, but I kinda wanted to post a complete series of all my Harley cosplays-to-date, so here’s the Easter Bunny one again, this one a collaboration with the awesome @abimused.
what was I thinking with the red lipstick?? such a bad choice.
And this was what I did as a concept for what Harley would wear for Halloween. I did this in a rush, so it’s a cheap ‘sexy’ Robin costume… I would’ve preferred to have her in full 60s Robin regalia!
And this is ‘Santa Harley’ - yet another Holly Messinger collaboration. This costume is taken from the Batgirl #1 special.
And this was just a little concept of fun clothes Harley might wear while bumming around. I really don’t think she sticks just to red and black.
This cosplay is taken from the episode ‘Harley’s Holiday’ and I pieced it all together myself. I wish I’d done the ponytails better for the shoot, not really happy with them. I also wouldn’t mind a different top.
And this is the ‘Mad Love’ nightie as can be seen in… Mad Love! AGAIN made by Holly Messinger, she also knocked me out a pair of matching panties! :D And I just used the hood from my regular costume.
Also… um… hello, thighs! I was pretty fit back then (April 2010) and working my way back to that condition.
And this is “1950s Harley” - wearing a Holly Messinger dress, a custom-cut wig and diamond-shaped rhinestone jewelry it took me forever to hunt down!
And this is my ‘Hollywood Harley’, a Holly Messinger special… she really worked with me to bring to life the glamour and glitz depicted in the comic! We added a few things… in the comic she just wore her black mask and had regular pom poms but I created my own custom latex mask, decorated in swarovski crystal, and we added crystal balls as the pom poms. SO. GOOD. I love this costume so much.
And this was my concept for a ‘Haute Couture’ Harley Quinn, for a dA comp. Again, everything was pieced together from bits I sourced, all over the place. I really love how it came out and the whole shoot.
Ah, and this was really my first cosplay - Dr Quinzel!
I think it’s a good example of beginnery-ness. I would overhaul so much of it were I to do it again. Find a really good wig, a lab coat that really fit properly, slightly thinner-framed glasses… a couple other things. But it was still fun to do.
